Puzzle pieces with a team and a leader

Leading through change? Stuck on a decision? Stepping into a bigger role?

If you’re in transition, feeling stuck or aiming higher, this is where leaders come to get clear.

I coach executives, emerging leaders and new managers across Auckland (and beyond) who want to lead with confidence, communicate with intention and move forward without the noise.

Trusted by leaders at Hato Hone St John, Victoria University of Wellington, and across New Zealand, Australia, and South Africa.

Who I help:

Leaders navigating change, growth or the moments that matter

I work with people who are:

  • Stepping into bigger roles — new managers, emerging leaders and executives taking on more responsibility

  • In transition — shifting roles, teams or direction and wanting clarity about what’s next

  • Feeling stuck — circling decisions, losing momentum or carrying too much alone

  • Aiming higher — ready to grow, refine their leadership or show up with more confidence and presence

  • Leading through complexity — managing people and teams, pressure or change and wanting steadiness in the noise.

What I help with:

How you show up as a leader

Together, we focus on the things that make the biggest difference in real leadership moments:

  • Leading with intention so your actions and conversations align with what matters

  • Making confident decisions instead of circling them for weeks

  • Communicating effectively so people understand, trust and follow you

  • Creating a team culture where people feel seen, heard and able to perform

  • Navigating change

  • Setting boundaries that protect your energy and focus

  • Strengthening self‑trust so you stop second‑guessing and start leading with conviction.

How it works

How to be a more
effective leader:

It starts with the people you lead and how they feel in your presence.

Effective leadership isn’t about doing more. It’s about creating the conditions where people feel safe, seen and able to do their best work.

The leaders who have the greatest impact are the ones who:

  • Make people feel safe enough to think, speak, and contribute

  • Ensure their team feels seen and heard, not managed from a distance

  • Are clear on direction — and communicate it simply and consistently

  • Hold firm boundaries for themselves and others so the work stays sustainable

  • Stay open and curious, especially when things feel uncertain or complex

  • Lead in a way that aligns with their values, not pressure or expectation

When people feel safe, clear, and supported, performance follows. That’s the heart of effective leadership.

Meet Jennifer

I’ve lived a life with a few chapters — different countries, different careers, different versions of myself. Some seasons were full of momentum; others were marked by burnout and the quiet work of beginning again. Each taught me something about clarity, courage and the value of slowing down long enough to hear yourself. It taught me the power of knowing what’s enough, how to set limits that honour my energy and how to let go of what no longer fits.

I understand the gap between external expectations and internal reality. Today, I help leaders navigate that space with more clarity, stronger boundaries and the kind of presence that enables their teams to feel safe, aligned and able to perform.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Coaching gives you a calm space to slow down, talk things through and make sense of what’s going on beneath the surface. It helps you get clear on what matters, what’s getting in the way and your next right action.

  • It’s a relaxed, no‑pressure chat. You can share what’s going on, ask questions and get a feel for how I work. It’s a chance for us both to see whether working together feels like a good fit.

  • Not at all. Many people come to me feeling unsure, overwhelmed, or pulled in different directions. Part of our work is making sense of that together.

  • All sessions are held online. We start by getting clear on what feels most important for you that day, and then we explore it together. I’ll ask questions to help you see things from new angles, and at times I may gently challenge you — always with your permission. The focus is on you, your pace, and what helps you move forward.

  • That’s completely normal. We can talk it through in the chemistry call and figure out what level of support feels right for where you are and what you’d like to focus on.

  • No. Coaching is a steady, supportive conversation that helps you hear your own thoughts without all the noise. It’s not about advice, analysis or being told what to do — it’s a grounded space to untangle what’s going on, see what matters and find the next step that feels right for you.

My approach is gentle, practical and rooted in real life. As a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), I’m committed to creating a professional, ethical space where things start to make more sense.

Coaching isn’t about fixing you. It’s about drawing out the insight you already have, with someone beside you asking thoughtful questions and helping you reconnect with your own clarity.
